Candidates must hold an engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) or M.Sc in Computer Science from an AICTE/UGC accredited institution. If you are currently in your final year or final semester, take note of these terms:
- You are fully eligible to apply provided you pass all semester examinations before 01 July 2027.
- Initial shortlisting will rely on your cumulative aggregate percentage up to the 6th Semester (for standard 4-year degree programs) or 8th Semester (for 5-year Architecture programs).

Commissioned TGC officers start at the rank of Lieutenant on Pay Matrix Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) alongside a fixed Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500 per month.
The 1-Year Ante-Date Benefit: Technical graduates entering through TGC are credited with 1 year of ante-date seniority. This counts toward your service length, enabling earlier pay increments and qualification for promotion to the rank of Captain in 1 year instead of the standard 2 years.
